Encode a wide variety of sources.
The Stream Publisher is a browser-based encoding application which connects to cameras, audio sources and screencasting apps to supply live video streams to the Switchboard for use in a live broadcast.
You can use Stream Publishers anywhere you have an Internet connection. With only a few clicks of the mouse, you can create crisp, full motion videos. In conjunction with a screencasting app you can also capture and encode anything visible on your computer desktop, like PowerPoint or Keynote slides.
Run multiple Stream Publishers to sync up your image with a speaker support deck for a turnkey presentation - or send multiple camera feeds to capture other objects in your environment. Now you can participate in more live events more often...without the time and expense of travel.

The Stream Publisher • Presenter Streams
Presenters streams are video/audio feeds that are published at remote locations - most often one or more presenters and their support materials - and fed to the One to the World Switchboard. Administrators do not have to "connect" to them - they appear automatically once encoding has begun.
Stream setup is simple - just log into the webpage containing a Stream Publisher, enter a sender name, screen height and width to define the encoded region, and select a driver connection to attached video, audio devices and/or screen capture software. It's that simple, and you're always provided immediate visual feedback to evaluate how you look in the frame.
The Stream Publisher • Screencasted Streams
Screencasted streams are a specific kind of Presenter stream. They are tied to screencasting applications running in parallel with a Stream Publisher. One to the World has been tested and certified a wide range of screencasting applications. Screencasting is typically used to capture local files like full screen graphics, PowerPoint decks or Keynote slides. Of course, anything visible on the desktop can be captured and encoded at 30 fps.
Administrators can always synchronize Presenter Streams and Screencasted Streams during a live broadcast to make a presentation complete, and everything plays back identically in on demand.
The Stream Publisher • Cross-Connected Streams
When multiple Presenters are participating in a live broadcast, Administrators can cross connect Presenter streams to enable two parties to directly converse with one another. This linkage is achieved with drag and drop simplicity - by dropping one source marker on top of another in the One to the World Switchboard. Once activated, the second video display becomes active at each end, so Presenters can directly engage one another. They can even enlarge a remote feed to full screen, to make the conversation feel more like a skype session. This is a great way to set up two-person interviews, and it's streamlined, since neither Presenter need open a Client Viewer to monitor the video feeds.
The Stream Publisher • Administrator Return Streams
Administrators can also capture themselves via a localized audio/video feed and cross connect it to any active Stream Publisher at any time.
This is especially helpful in setting up a live broadcast event, since Administrators can directly communicate with remote talent and offer insightful tips on optimizing their environment, positioning in front of the camera, delivery timing and more. They often use it to cue talent right before they go on the air.
The Result • A Perfectly Mixed Show!
During a live broadcast event, Administrators can mix and match multiple Stream Publisher feeds to either side of the Client Viewer to create a perfectly mixed show.
The timing and placement of every shot is preserved and played back exactly as it happened once the release is made available on demand. Edits and revisions are also possible, should an Administrator wish to alter the event.
